Heart-Centred Equine-Assisted Learning in Florencecourt, Fermanagh
Nestled in the tranquil countryside of Florencecourt, County Fermanagh, Apache Spirit Herd offers a unique and deeply supportive space for healing, growth, and self-discovery through Equine-Assisted Learning and Equine-Facilitated Interactions.
At the heart of our work is a heart-centred approach, where both the horse and facilitator create a calm, non-judgemental, and emotionally safe environment. All interactions are done on the ground—there is no riding involved—and no prior horse experience is necessary.
Our sessions focus on building emotional resilience, reducing stress, and improving well-being through mindful, present-moment connection with horses.
Apache Spirit Herd supports both teens and adults experiencing stress, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or those simply seeking a deeper connection with themselves.
Personalised support tailored to your individual pace and needs. Experience the healing presence of horses in a completely private, safe environment where you can explore your emotions without judgment.
Connect with 4-6 like-minded individuals in shared healing experiences. Perfect for friends supporting each other, families, or community healing in the gentle presence of our horses.
Build stronger emotional regulation skills, reduce stress and anxiety, and develop greater self-awareness through structured yet intuitive exercises with our therapeutic horses.
"Horses are intuitive, non-verbal communicators who naturally respond to human emotions. Their honest and immediate feedback helps participants become more aware of their own emotional states, develop clearer boundaries, and build authentic relationships—both with themselves and others."
